LESCO electricity tariff depends on the consumption of the customer electricity. The customer bill varies according to their requirements. The industrial consumers pay more tariffs because they consume more power supply for long times than the domestic ones.

What are LESCO Peak hours?

You can manage your electricity consumption by knowing about peak hours. When there is a high demand for electricity. The peak hours of LESCO electricity tariff can charge you more. So save electricity. Approximately it’s from 5 pm to 11 pm. The timing varies from month to month. Just take a look and gain information about the specific hours. Following is the timing of LESCO peak and off Peak hours:

  • From December to February, peak hours are 5 PM to 9 PM.
  • The peak hours from March to May and September to November are 6 PM to 10 PM
  • From June to August the peak hours are 7 PM to 11 PM.

Remaining 20 hours are the Off-Peak hours.

What are the Types of Lesco tariffs?

According to their requirement of the consumer, LESCO provides different tariffs. There are different types of tariffs with different names. Customer can choose any of the tariff types. So that the power can be supplied according to the customers’ needs.

These are the types of LESCO electricity tariff.

Domestic, commercial, industrial, general e.t.c

What is the price of electricity per unit?

With increasing prices of everything, LESCO gives its best rates to the consumers.

On the domestic level, the price before 100 units is quite less and inexpensive. After the consumption of 100 units, the price of the units may vary. There is a slight change in the price.

The price of the domestic level is given below.

1st 100 units price = Rs – 12.90 / unit

After 100 units price = Rs – 13.54 / unit

SCHEDULE OF LESCO ELECTRICITY TARIFF 2021

Every tariff has its own rates according to the phases. The schedule of electricity tariff is given below.
The tariff rates depends on the phases of meter. According to your tariff phases the rate is specified.

1. Tariff A-1

In Tariff A-1, there are variable charges for sanctioned load less than 5kWand above that depends upon the Units consumed.

For upto 50 units:

  • Variable charges of Nepra per kilo watt hour are 4Rs,
  • Applicable charges are 2Rs
  • The uniform LESCO electricity tariff variable charges are 4Rs/Kwh.

For first 100 units:

  • The variable charges of Nepra per kilo watt hour are 12.09Rs,
  • Applicable charges are 5.79Rs
  • The uniform Tariff variable charges are 13.85Rs/Kwh.

From 101 to 200 units:

  • The variable charges of Nepra per kilo watt hour are 13.54,
  • Applicable charges are 8.11Rs
  • the uniform Tariff variable charges are 15.86Rs/Kwh.

From 201 to 300 units:

  • The variable charges of Nepra per kilo watt hour are 15.27 Rs
  • Applicable charges are 10.20Rs
  • the uniform Tariff variable charges are 16.83Rs/kwh

From 301 to 700 units:

  • The variable charges of Nepra per kilowatt hour are 16.91 Rs
  • Applicable charges are 17.60Rs
  • the uniform Tariff variable charges are 18.54Rs/kwh

Above 700 units:

  • For units above 700 the uniform variable charges are 20.94Rs/kwh
  • Applicable charges are 20.70 Rs
  • Nepra variable charges are 19.24Rs/kwh.

Peak and off peak charges:

  • Uniform peak charges are 19.33 and off-peak are 12.80Rs
  • Applicable charges on peak timings are 20.70 and off-peak timings are 14-38Rs.
  • The charges on peak timing by nepra are 18.81 and off peak are 12.5Rs

NOTE:

Even if no energy is consumed. There shall be minimum monthly customer charge at the following rates

  1. a) Single Phase connections: Rs. 75/- per consumer per month
  2. b) Three phase connection: Rs.150/- per consumer per month

2. A2 General Supply LESCO electricity tariff Commercial

Fixed Charges:

The fixed charges for general supply are 400Rs/kw/M for usage of electricity load of 5kw and above

Uniform tariff variable charges:

  • for sanctioned load less than 5 kw, charges are 19.26Rs/kwh
  • Charges for sanctioned load 5 kw and above are 18.01
  • In peak hours the charges increases to 20.09 and off peak charges are 13.48Rs/kwh.

Nepra Variable Charges:

  • for sanctioned load less than 5kW, the charges are 19.08Rs/kwh
  • Charges for sanctioned load 5 kw and above are 16.81Rs/kwh
  • Peak charges are to 19.18Rs/kwh and off peak charges are 12.26Rs/kwh.

Applicable charges:

  • for sanctioned load less than 5kW, the charges are 18/kwh
  • Charges for sanctioned load 5 kw and above are 19.68Rs/kwh
  • Peak charges are to 21.6Rs/kwh and off peak charges are 15.63Rs/kwh.

NOTE:
Under LESCO electricity tariff A-2, there shall be minimum monthly customer charge at the following rates even if no energy is consumed.

  1. a) Single phase connections: Rs. 175/- per consumer per month
  2. b) Three phase connections: Rs. 350/- per consumer per month

3. A3 General Services

For general services variable charges are 17.56Rs/kwh.

NOTE:
Under Tariff A-3, there shall be minimum monthly customer charge at the following rates even if no energy is consumed.

  1. a) Single phase connections: Rs. 175/- per consumer per month
  2. b) Three phase connections: Rs. 350/- per consumer per month

4. B Industrial Supply Tariff

Fixed charges:

  • The fixed charges for industrial tariff B2 at 400 volts from 25-500 Kw are 400Rs/KW/M
  • For all the loads up to 5000Kw at the voltage of 11,33KV, the fixed charges are 380Rs/KW/M.
  • For all the loads up to at the voltage of 66,132KV, the fixed charges are 360Rs/KW/M

Uniform variable charges:

  • At voltage of 400/230 volts, the charges are 18.32Rs/kwh up to 25 kw
  • From 25-500kw the charges are 15.79Rs/kwh at the voltage of 400volts

Nepra variable charges:

  • Up to 25kw the charges are 17.59Rs/kwh at the voltage of 400/230volts
  • From 25-500kw the charges are 14.95Rs/kwh at the voltage of 400volts

Applicable charges:

  • Up to 25kw the charges are 15.28Rs/kwh at the voltage of 400/230volts
  • From 25-500kw the charges are 14.78Rs/kwh at the voltage of 400volts

On peak charges:

  • Up to 25kw, the uniform variable charges on peak hours are 20.14Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 19.98Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 18.84Rs/kwh
  • From 25 to 500 at 400 voltage, Nepra variable charges are 19.35Rs/kwh, applicable charges are 18.78Rs.
  • For all the loads up to 5000Kw at the voltage of 11,33KV,the uniform variable charges are 20.39Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 20.58Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 18.78Rs/kwh
  • For all the loads up to at the voltage of 66,132KV, the uniform variable charges on peak hours are 20.27Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 20.25Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 18.78Rs/kwh

Off peak charges:

  • Up to 25kw, the uniform variable charges off peak hours are 13.46Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12.03Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 13.28Rs/kwh
  • From 25 to 500 at 400 voltage, the uniform variable charge are 13.23Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12.64Rs/kwh, applicable charges are 13.07Rs.
  • For all the loads up to 5000Kw at the voltage of 11,33KV,the uniform variable charges are 12.61Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 11.61Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 12.98Rs/kwh
  • For all the loads up to at the voltage of 66,132KV, the uniform variable charges on peak hours are 13.25Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 12.88Rs/kwh

NOTE:

For industrial supply LESCO electricity tariff there is fixed minimum price because the consumption and time of consumption id high over there

The fixed minimum charges are given below:

  • For B1 consumers there shall be fixed minimum charge of Rs. 350 per month.
  • For B2 consumers there shall be fixed minimum charge of Rs. 2,000 per month.
  • For B3 consumers there shall be fixed minimum charge of Rs. 50,000 per month.
  • For B4 consumers there shall be fixed minimum charge of Rs. 500,000 per month.

5. C-SINGLE POINT SUPPLY FOR PURCHASE IN BULK BY A DISTRIBUTION LICENSEE AND MIXED LOAD CONSUMERS NOT FALLEN IN ANY OTHER CONSUMER CLASS

Uniform charges:

  • Uniform charges For sanctioned load less than 5kw and up to 500kw are 21.32 and 20.13Rs/kwh at 400/230 volts
  • Uniform charges up to 5000kw at 11,33kV are 15.61Rs/kwh
  • For sanctioned load above than 5000kw at 66 KV, charges are 14.42Rs/kwh

Applicable charges:

  • Applicable charges For sanctioned load less than 5kw and up to 500kw are 18.68 and 18.18Rs/kwh at 400/230 volts
  • Applicable charges up to 5000kw at 11,33kV are 17.98Rs/kwh
  • For sanctioned load above than 5000kw at 66 KV, charges are 17.88Rs/kwh

Nepra variable charges:

  • Nepra variable charges For sanctioned load less than 5kw and up to 500kw are 16.2 and 15.7Rs/kwh at 400/230 volts
  • Nepra variable charges up to 5000kw at 11,33kV are 15.21Rs/kwh
  • For sanctioned load above than 5000kw at 66 KV, charges are 13.97Rs/kwh

Charges on peak hours:

  • For sanctioned load less than 5kw and up to 500kw uniform variable charges on peak hours are 21.52Rs/kwh,
  • On peak uniform variable charges up to 5000kw at 11,33kV are 19.73Rs/kwh
  • For sanctioned load above than 5000kw at 66 KV, charges are 18.49Rs/kwh
  • On peak applicable and nepra variable charges are 21.6 and 19Rs/kwh

Charges off peak hours:

  • For sanctioned load less than 5kw and up to 500kw uniform variable charges off peak hours are 14.99Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12.5Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 15Rs
  • Off peak uniform variable charges up to 5000kw at 11,33kV are 12.57Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12.1Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 14.8Rs
  • For sanctioned load above than 5000kw at 66 KV, charges are 11.59Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 14.7Rs

 

6. D-AGRICULTURE LESCO electricity tariff

Fixed charges:

Fixed charges for agricultural and scarp 5Kw and above than that and agricultural tube well are 200Rs/Kw/M

Uniform charges

Uniform charges for scarp less than 5Kw are 23.17Rs/kwh and for agricultural tube well  are 14.56Rs/kwh.

Applicable charges

Applicable charges for scarp less than 5Kw are 15.68Rs/kwh and for agricultural tube well  are 5.35Rs/kwh.

On peak charges:

  • For scarp 5Kw and above than that uniform Charges on peak hours are 20.87Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 22RS/kwh and applicable charges are 18.6Rs/kwh
  • For agricultural, uniform Charges on peak hours are 20.27Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 20.5RS/kwh and applicable charges are 5.35Rs/kwh

Off peak charges:

  • Uniform Charges For scarp 5Kw and above than that off peak hours are 14.03Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 12.02RS/kwh and applicable charges are 11.35Rs/kwh
  • For agricultural, uniform Charges on peak hours are 13.04Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 13.46RS/kwh and applicable charges are 5.35Rs/kwh

NOTE:

Under this LESCO electricity tariff, there shall be minimum monthly charges Rs. 2000/- per consumer per month, even if no energy is consumed.

The consumers having sanctioned load less than 5 Kw can opt for TOU metering.

7. E-TEMPORARY SUPPLY TARIFF

Applicable and uniform charges are same in temporary supply.

For Residential temporary supply:

Uniform and applicable charges are Rs20.84Rs/kwh and Nepra variable charges are 18.15Rs/kwh

For commercial temporary supply:

Uniform and applicable charges are 18.39Rs/kwh and Nepra variable charges are 18.47Rs/kwh

For industrial temporary supply:

Uniform and applicable charges are Rs16.36Rs/kwh and nepra variable charges are 14.70Rs/kwh

Note : For the categories of E-1(i&ii) above, the minimum bill of the consumers shall be Rs. 50/- per day subject to a minimum of Rs. 500/- for the entire period of supply, even if no energy is consumed.

8. F – Seasonal Industrial Supply TARIFF

It is the 125% of relevant Industrial Tariff.

Note:

Tariff F-seasonal industrial supply consumers will have the option to convert to regular tariff and vice versa. This option can be exercised at the time of a new connection or at the beginning of the season. Once exercised, the option remains in force for at least one year.

9. G-PUBLIC LIGHTING

For public street lighting the uniform charges are 18.78Rs/kwh. Applicable charges are of 18.68Rs/kwh and Nepra variable charges are 19.78Rs/kwh

NOTE:

Under Tariff-G, there shall be a minimum monthly charge of Rs. 500/- per month per kW of lamp capacity installed.

10. H- RESIDENTIAL COLONIES ATTACHED TO INDUSTRIAL PREMISES

Applicable charges for Residential colonies attached to industrial premises are Rs18.68/kwh. Nepra variable and uniform tariff charges are 20.39Rs/kwh and 18.42Rs/kwh.

11. I – RAILWAY TRACTION

For Railway traction Uniform and Nepra variable charges are 17.9Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 18.68Rs/kwh.

12. J- SPECIAL CONTRACTS UNDER NEPRA (SUPPLY OF POWER)

Uniform Variable charges:

  • Having sanctioned load of 20MW & above and For supply of 66 kv & above, uniform charges are 16.14Rs/kwh.
  • Uniform variable charges for supply at 11,33 kv are 16.46Rs/kwh.
  • For supply at 66 kv & above, uniform charges are 16.36Rs/kwh

Nepra variable charges:

  • Having sanctioned load of 20MW & above and For supply of 66 kv & above, Nepra charges are 11.77Rs/kwh.
  • Nepra variable charges for supply at 11,33 kv are 14.1Rs/kwh.
  • For supply at 66 kv & above, Nepra charges are 14Rs/kwh

Applicable charges:

  • Having sanctioned load of 20MW & above and For supply of 66 kv & above, applicable charges are 17.88Rs/kwh.
  • Applicable variable charges for supply at 11.33 kv are 17.98Rs/kwh.
  • For supply at 66 kv & above, applicable charges are 17.88Rs/kwh

On peak charges:

  • Uniform peak charges for all are 20.66Rs/kwh
  • Nepra peak variable charges are 18.60Rs/kwh
  • Applicable charges are 21.60Rs/kwh

Off peak charges:

  • Having sanctioned load of 20MW & above and For supply of 66 kv & above, uniform off peak charges are 14.33, Nepra variable charges are 11.62Rs/kwh, applicable charges are 14.70Rs/kwh.
  • “Uniform off peak variable charges for supply at 11,33 kv are 14.44Rs/kwh, Nepra variable charges are 11.72Rs/kwh and applicable charges are 14.80Rs/kwh.

Note:

1:- Neelum Jhelum Surcharge at   rate of Rs. 0.10 per KWh on all electricity consumers except lifeline domestic consumers of the category   ‘Residential-A’ for Electricity Sold.

2:- Financial Cost Surcharge at the rate of Rs. 0.43 per KWh applicable to all the categories of Electricity Consumers except lifeline domestic consumers of the Category ‘Residential-A’ for Electricity sold.
